Sxip Identity is merging the Simple Extensible Identity Protocol (SXIP) and Digital Identity Exchange (DIX) technologies into the OpenID 2.0 specifications. We believe a standardized, user-centric, identity protocol that is widely used by millions is an important step forward in realizing our Identity 2.0 vision. To that end, we are working with the OpenID community in a number of ways including contributing code, participating in the bounty program, and evangelizing its use to web developers.
